National Commission for Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Lithuania suggested to iniciate a preparation of a special law for implementation of the Convention Concerning the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage. 

Lithuania joined Convention Concerning the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage almost 30 years ago. Unfortunately, not all the goals have been achieved in practice, and the problems are deepening. Heritage Commission considers that the best, fastest and most effective solution is to preprare a special law dedicated to the implementation of this Convention.
