We invite you to explore the result of the project “Map of Cultural Heritage Significant to Lithuania in the Kingdom of Sweden” presented on 27 November – the map itself.
This map invites visitors to discover Lithuanian cultural heritage in Sweden, from places associated with the times of rulers to traces left by present-day communities. It brings together the history of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, the legacy of the Jagiellonian dynasty, the activities of Lithuanian diplomats and creators, and the contribution of modern Lithuanian communities.
Heritage Commission is an expert and advisor to the Parliament of the Republic of Lithuania, President of the Republic of Lithuania and to Government of the Republic of Lithuania regarding the national policy of cultural heritage protection, its implementation, evaluation and improvement.
