September 11 – Vilija Ralytė, a specialist at the Department of Cultural Heritage Protection and Analysis of the National Commission for Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Lithuania, delivered a presentation titled “Integrating Cultural Heritage into Climate Adaptation Policy: The Case of Lithuania” at the international seminar “Climate Change and Cultural Heritage: Learning through Knowledge and Practice” held in Vilnius.
The presentation introduced the key Lithuanian strategic documents related to the implementation of the Green Deal and emphasized the importance of integrating cultural heritage into climate change mitigation and adaptation measures.

Heritage Commission is an expert and advisor to the Parliament of the Republic of Lithuania, President of the Republic of Lithuania and to Government of the Republic of Lithuania regarding the national policy of cultural heritage protection, its implementation, evaluation and improvement.
