The Lithuanian National Commission for Cultural Heritage, aiming to strengthen international cooperation in the field of heritage protection, organized an outing meeting to the Riga historical center where met with the representatives of Latvian heritage protection institutions. During the meetings, it were discussed the issues of protection, management and use of the UNESCO World Heritage Site – Riga Historical Center. It was noted that the principles of heritage management of Riga could be an example of good practice for Vilnius historical center.
