PRIVACY POLICY OF THE NATIONAL COMMISSION FOR CULTURAL HERITAGE of the Republic of Lithuania

Privacy policy of the National Commission for Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Lithuania (Privacy Policy) regulates the purposes of processing a personal data of natural persons whose data are processed by the institution, establishes the procedure for the implementation of their rights, organizational and technical data protection measures.

Policy has been drawn on the basis of Law of the Republic of Lithuania on the Legal Protection of Personal Data (ADTAI), General Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data (BDAR) and other regulations which are linked to the protection of personal data.

The Concept of Privacy Policy.

Personal Data – any information about a person with identity; a person whose identity can be indentified with identificator – name, surname, insurance number, location, genetic, psychic, economic or social identity features.

Data Management – any operation or set of operations which is performed upon personal data, whether or not by automatic means, such as collection, recording, organization, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, blocking, erasure or destruction.

Data entity – natural persons, whose data are being processed by the National Commission for Cultural Heritage.

Data providing – disclosure of personal data (with an exception of publishing it in media).

Other concepts used in the Privacy Policy shall be understood as they are defined in the ADTAI and / or BDAR.

 

Principles and purposes of a personal data processing

The National Commission for Cultural Heritage makes sure that your personal data will be managed within a legal framework, according to specific regulations and adequate goals. The National Commission for Cultural Heritage will not manage that data which is not compactible in any way with legal forms.

After subscribing to the newsletter, the Data Controller has the right to process an email address of the Data entity.

Usage of the mobile app

The data controller may process the following data of persons who use the mobile app: location, language, video camera.

Data subjects are informed of their data processing and their rights. The information is provided in the Privacy Policy published in the Data Controller’s website and in the User Guide provided in the mobile app.

Personal requests to the Data Controller

The Data Controller, receiving the personal request and needing to answer it, may process the following personal data: name, surname, address of residence, email, postal address, telephone number and other data provided by the person who made the request.

Data retention period

We store all personal data no longer than 5 years.

Data transfer to third parties

Your data will not be revealed to the third parties. Your personal data may be transferred to the Government or law enforcement authorities only upon their lawful request.

Validity and Changes of the Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies from April 2020. The National Commission for Cultural Heritage retains the right to change, supplement and adjust the Privacy Policy.
